Academic Term Codes
Each term (semester) is assigned a four-digit code to identify it in UAConnect. Some terms will contain multiple sessions, such as Intersessions and Eight Week sessions. The following table describes how to decipher and interpret this code.
Character | Represents | Value | Description |
---|---|---|---|
1st | Century | 0 = 20th century 1 = 21st century |
0 = Term enrollment through 1999 1 = Term enrollment from 2000 |
2nd and 3rd | Year | 99 = 1999 16 = 2016 17 = 2017 18 = 2018 |
The academic year begins with the fall term. Use this for the term code. Example: 2018 = 18 |
4th | Term |
Regular Terms Fall = 9 Spring = 3 Summer = 6 |
